A while back a friend of mine told me about how she had written out the things she knows are true. When she has to make a tough decision or is struggling with something, she pulls out her list and uses it to help her.
These are my truths, the things that I know to be true and want to live by. I encourage you to search your heart for your list of truths.
God loves me no matter what.
God loves everyone else just as much as He loves me.
God is always here to help me – all I have to do is ask.
When I feel far away from God it is because I moved – not Him.
Jesus suffered death on the cross for me – He may ask me to suffer for Him but He will always be with me.
I can’t always just sit back and wait for God to give me something – sometimes I need to help to get it done.
God expects me to be a good example to others – He gave me Jesus and the Holy Spirit to show me the way. Just because it is acceptable in the world doesn’t mean it is acceptable to God.
I don’t always know why something happens – but God does and I need to always trust that what He allows or doesn’t allow is what is best in Heaven.
Little sins are still sins!
